Beach Day at Lovers Key State Park

Get ready for a relaxing and invigorating beach day this Sunday October 26th at 3:30 PM at Lovers Key State Park! It’s going to be a perfect mix of laid-back and lively — think golden sand, chill waves, and great company.

Feel free to bring any "beach games" you may have! 

 Location 
Address: 8700 Estero Blvd., Fort Myers Beach, FL 33931 (though the park is technically between Fort Myers Beach & Bonita Springs) about 30-45 min from Cape Coral

Meeting time: Let’s plan to gather by the parking lot / tram pick-up area at 3:30 PM. Then we’ll head to the beach together or you can meet us later! 

 Fees & Essentials
  • Park admission: $8 per vehicle (for 2-8 people) 

  • Single-occupant vehicle: about $4. 

  • Pedestrians/bikes: typically $2. 

What to bring:
  • Beach towels or chairs 

  • Sunscreen 

  • A cooler with snacks/beverages to keep cool

  • Swimwear & maybe a change of clothes for after

  • A good attitude because we’re going to have FUN!

 Fun Things to Do
  • Sunbathing & swimming: The beach stretches for about 2 miles of sugar-sand and gentle Gulf waters.
  • Shell-hunting: Lovers Key is known for great shells—keeping an eye out for unique finds makes the beach strolls extra fun. 
  • Sunset vibes: Since we’re meeting in the afternoon, we might catch some of the golden hour—beautiful for photos and a relaxed wrap-up.

✅ Plan & Reminders
  • Wear beach-friendly footwear (the sand can be warm).

  • Let me know if you’re coming so I can keep a head-count.

  • We’ll meet at 3:30 PM at the lot; if someone’s running late, shoot me a quick text and we’ll coordinate.

  • We’ll wrap when we’re ready, but plan for around 3 hours of fun together.
